Unii stiti deja, altii ati aflat din lectura articolelor mele de pana acum ca sunt un impatimit al pescuitului Match. Am descoperit de curand minunatele plute produse de Andrew Field, un englez pur sange . Pot spune ca sunt cu siguranta cele mai frumoase plute pe care le-am intalnit pana acum.

Intr-o gama diversa, de la Onion floats la Waggler insert si de la Balsa Chubber la clasicele Waggler Andy produce manual, din pluta, lemn de balsa sau lemn de esenta usoara modele customizate dupa cerinte dar stilul sau propriu face inconfundabile in acelasi timp creatiile sale.

In exclusivitate in Romania, am obtinut un interviu cu Andy Field, producatorul acestor minunatii incondeiate:

Andy, cum ai inceput sa produci aceste plute?

Imi aduc aminte cu placere ca totul a inceput din momentul in care faceam curat intr-un hambar uitat de vreme si am descoperit una din cutiile de pescar ale bunicului meu. Inauntru, am gasit cateva plute peste care se asternuse patina trecerii anilor scrijelindu-le lacul si ciupindu-le pe alocuri. Am decis sa le reconditionez si sa le readuc stralucirea de altadata.

Am reusit sa le readuc in starea initiala si mi-am dat seama ca arata exceptional. Motivat, m-am hotarat sa incep de la zero schitarea unor noi modele ce m-ar caracteriza mai mult.

Am observat detaliile de exceptie

Da, intr-adevar imi place ca totul sa fie perfect si folosesc numai materiale pe care le aleg cu foarte mare atentie printre care firele de matase naturala si straturi suprapuse de lacuri de cea mai buna calitate.

Cat timp iti ia sa obtii o singura pluta?

Realizarea acestor plute este deocamdata doar un hobby pentru mine, timpul de lucru fiind foarte limitat. Astfel, functie de model si cerintele solicitantului, pentru a produce un set de 10 plute lucrez chiar si trei saptamani.

Unde le comercializezi?

Tocmai am terminat un lot de 32 de seturi pentru John Bailey ce le va expune in curand spre vanzare pe site-ul Kingfisher Apartments. Modelele sunt incepand de la cele pentru ape linistite pana la cele dedicate pescuitului pe rau dar vor fi o editie limitata de 16 cutii din fiecare.

Sunt nerabdator sa primesc noi comenzi pentru plute customizate ce sper sa imi testeze limitele artistice si tehnice.

Andy, iti multumesc pentru interviu si ca ultima intrebare, cum ti se pare blogul meu?

Nu cunosc limba romana insa am vizitat blogul tau si imi place foarte mult aspectul si deduc din imaginile afisate ca tratezi aspectele frumoase ale pescuitului ca sport de elita.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FISHING FLOATS

You all know that I am a big fan of float fishing. I recently discovered Andrew Field’s floats. I can certainly say that they are the most beautiful floats I have ever seen.

They are produced in a large series from Onion Floats to Waggler Insert and from Balsa Chubber to the Classic Wagglers. Based on your requests but keeping his own style, Andy is producing  the floats from cork, balsa or
light wood .

For the first time in Romania, I present an inteview with Andy Field , the producer of these painted beauties:

Andy, how did it all started?

It all started when I found a few floats in my late Grandfathers old fishing box when clearing out an old shed, they were in a sorry state with all the paint and varnish chipped so i decided to restore them. When they were re-painted and varnished they looked really nice so I decided to make a few of my own from scratch.

I have noticed that you spend a lot of time on details

Yes, like that everything to be perfect that’s why I am always selecting only the best materials as silk threads and highest quality varnish layers.

How long it takes to produce each of these wonders?

The floats are a hobby of mine and as such my time making them is limited. I can only make a few each week as they are so time consuming, a good set of 10 can take upto 3 weeks to make depending on the styles

Where are you selling them?

I have just made 32 box sets for John Bailey which will be sold via the Kingfisher Apartments website soon so keep an eye out for them, there will be stil water and river sets but they are limited to 16 box sets of each.  Im always happy to take orders and the beauty of a hand made float is you can have them taylored in any size you like
